Santo Domingo, RD.- La Oficina Nacional de Meteorología ONAMET mantiene un Alerta de condiciones de HURACÁN desde Cabo Engaño hasta Bahía de Manzanillo, y un Alerta de condiciones de TORMENTA desde Cabo Engaño hasta La Isla Saona, incluyendo a localidades del interior de la zona este, noreste, norte y noroeste del territorio dominicano.
UN ALERTA SIGNIFICA QUE EN UN PERIODO DE 48 HORAS O MENOS, PUNTOS DEL PERÍMETRO COSTERO ASÍ COMO LOCALIDADES QUE ESTÉN BAJO ALERTA PODRÍAN SENTIR AL MENOS UNO O DOS DE LOS EFECTOS ASOCIADOS AL SISTEMA TROPICAL, COMO SON LAS LLUVIAS INTENSAS, VIENTOS FUERTES, ASI COMO MAREAS U OLAS ANORMALES.
